I didn't see "Junior Sells the Farm" but I can imagine that it was good. Anyway, getting back to when he dances. Do any of you remember "A Dark and Stormy Night"? In it, he gets to have the cottage all to himself and in celebration he sings "Big Boy Now". A great song that really brings out Richard's voice. :sing:
Yeah, I remember that, or as Junior would say, "I wememboh dat!" The garlic popcorn scenes are classic! "I hope Ma doesn't notice da peanut buttoh on da ceiling! Da huh huh huh huh huh!"

Junior Gorg will always be one of my all-time favorite Henson creations!

Junior Gorg

Since I live with Fraggle Rock 24/7, I sometimes feel as though Junior is the " son I never had". As I often tell my daughter , for whom a day without Fraggle Rock would be like a day without air, " Junior is in trouble again ! " It must be very hard for Junior, being an only child and having to do all of the chores around the castle. But, as Pa or Paw says " Junior, you've got a crown in the closet and we call you prince. What more do you want?" Also, I just love Junior's Radish pajamas!

Several ones...2 that come to mind I think are the end of "The Great Radish Famine", and "A Dark and Stormy Night".

Man, it's been so long since I watched "the Rock"...need to pop in some videos! :excited:

So do I, it's just been this long since I've watched it, lol.

But usually, a night-time Gorg scene features Junior in his radish jammies---oh! I know! "Capture the Moon" is another definite one! :excited:

The Great Radish Famine
The Minstrels
Capture the Moon

Those are the only 3 I can think of. They didn't really show the Gorgs castle at night that much.

This is for Princeton, and anyone else who loves Junior as much as I do and hasn't seen "Junior Sells The Farm."

Right off the bat, it shows Junior holding a cage, taunting Mokey and Red, who are trapped inside. (These are the only two fraggles shown in this episode) Mokey isn't worried about being caught, and tells Red that she has a new way of looking at life. She says that if they are truly nice to the Gorgs, nothing really bad will happen to them. Red completely disagrees. Pa then calls for Junior to leave the fraggles alone and come help him fix the roof in the house. Of course, just to be safe, Junior takes Mokey and Red inside with him.

Pa is complaining about how the castle is falling apart, and tells Junior that, if he could, he'd sell the place. Ma and Pa then tell him about the peas of power, which is something that, if you plant them one night, the very next morning a beautiful princess will sprout from the seed, and she will be the future queen of the throne. Then Ma and Pa decide to go for a walk, leaving Junior to "guard the kingdom" because Pa knows that's the only thing Junior can do right, considering they haven't seen the "enemy" in centuries. Junior decides to think of a way he can prove to Pa he's not a dunder-headed lummix.

About this time, Wander McMooch is wondering around the castle, observing it from all angles, and he decides that since gorgs are such gullible creatures, he may be able to get the palace. He then introduces himself to Junior, and asks if he could buy the palace. McMooch has gold to give, but Junior wants the peas of power instead. So McMooch gives him some ordinary peas to make him think that they're the peas of power, in exchange for the castle. McMooch then leaves, saying he'll be back in the morning to take ownership of the castle.

When Ma and Pa return, they see all of their belongings out in the yard, and Junior tells them that he sold the palace. His parents are extremely mad at him, but Ma gives him the benefit of the doubt, saying he had to have sold it for something just as valuable. When Junior tells them that he sold it for the peas of power, then his parents tell them that the story isn't true. Junior still believes that he wasn't jipped, so he plants them that night, while singing "Dream Girl Lover," and believing that the next morning, a beautiful princess will sprout. Mokey tells him it's no use and that they're fake. So Junior listens to them, and he, Mokey and Red work a plan. And in exchange for helping him, he has to let them go...

The next morning, the Gorgs are all ready to leave when Wander shows up. Junior shows him the pea plant he planted last night, and Wander knows he's in trouble now. Daylight comes, and there is no princess. Instead, Junior tells him there's nothing in the peas except diamonds. McMooch is shocked, so he then quickly gives them back the castle in exchange for the diamonds. But McMooch takes a closer look, seeing that they aren't diamonds; they're rhinestones, and wants the castle back.

Junior says that you wouldn't want a farm that was infested with fraggles, anyway. Wander hates fraggles, and is disgusted that there are fraggles running around. Red and Mokey are sneaking back to the hole, when Junior catches them again, but this time so he can scare McMooch off. After McMooch leaves, Red and Mokey go back home, and Ma and Pa are so happy that their boy saved the farm.
