Well, no charges will be filed against John Mark Karr. It turns out his DNA did not match those found at the crime scene. I seriously figured he didn't do it. But it's a shame the case is still unsolved.

It is a shame, considering that this case is 10 years old and that people thought that there was actually a snipet of hope that this case was gonna be solved finally, and that there was hope that peace will finally reach the family of the deceased, Oh well. I guess we'll have to just assume that the parents did it for the same reasons people did 10 years ago. I don't want to get on a huge consipracy rant, but did anyone else think it was odd they fingered a suspect just AFTER the Mother died?

I wasn't surprised the DNA didn't match. There were a lot of reasons it didn't look like Karr's confession was legit. Plus, I've always thought it likely for a lot of reasons that the parents were responsible for the murder. The whole incident is really sad. I know some people correctly point out that JonBenet is simply one of many children who have been murdered in our country and that her case got the exposure because she was in beauty pageants and her parents were filthy rich. Nevertheless, her murder still cries out for justice.

I just wanna know if this guy gets charged for a fake confession. I mean, who pays for this? Seems like they came down a lot harder on that "runaway bride" chick a while back, than this idiot.

Absolutely! Sickening, isn't it?
I don't know. I haven't really been following the case too closely for the past few years, so when the confession came out, I foolishly accepted it without much question.
You know how you just want to pin it on certain people sometimes? Well, I do really want the parents to have done it. Both because of what they did to their daughter, (not going to attempt to spell her name), and the way they acted since, I've always hated them! Not to mention if they act this way now, hwhat kind of people must they be in general!
