I haven't seen the show in years and I recently purchased the Johnny Fiama action figure. It comes with a little record and a microphone, so was he a singer? I have always remembered him as the newscastor, but I could be wrong. Could someone help me out?

Johnny Fiama was a singer introduced on Muppets Tonight. He had a monkey for a personal assistant named Sal Manila(sp?). He was influenced by singers like Tony Bennett(who guest starred on MT) and Frank Sinatra.
