Johnny Depp as Carol Channing? Yes? No...?

So...in an interview, Johnny Depp stated that he'd love to play a challenging role, and quoted one that he would love to play as: Carol Channing.

I, for one, can totally see him in the role...

But, jeepers, does he have the peepers?
