John was flashier, that's all there is to it. Both Beatles were great, but it's annoying that George was always so overshadowed. But I also think his death isn't considered as tragic because a lot of people die of cancer. Unfortunately, it's normal. Whereas, being shot is not.

That all depends on the neighborhood lol.

Yeah, like heralde said, John was flashier. He made himself noticed, and did things in such a way that I don't think people will ever forget. George, on the other hand, was quieter, and I think because he was the "third Beatle" as he put it, he slightly less popular.
