I,ve just been on a weekend vacation in Erie Pennsylvania.While shopping at Erie,s Millcreek Mall[one of the biggest shopping malls I have ever seen,next to West Edmonton Mall],I purchased my own copy of John Denver & The Muppets/Rocky Mountain Holiday.I,ve never seen this special before,but I hear it was one of the best.Just out of curiosity,what year did it come out? :smile: :mad:

Are you sure? I don't have the video, just the CD. But I thought I remember it said "Copyright 1979."

Hmmm. I'll have to look at that again. I also thought there was a description of that special at toughpigs.com, where they said it was 1979. I should check that out too.

Rocky Mountain Holiday was indeed released in 1983. I believe "John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together" was released around 1979. As mentioned elsewhere in the forum, the title of Rocky Mountain Holiday causes confusion--however, it is NOT the Christmas special.
