I remember seeing her on a show I use to watch every day in 1989.

you know inspite the fact the 35aniversary special wasn't really great, but what would of been nice was to see her appear at the end of it and say something like hello i'm Joan Ganz Cooney. i'm founded the CTW now SW years ago and say whatever about SS thoughout the years.

i wonder myself. i haven't visited the Sesame Workshop sitein so long but i don't think her name is mentioned wich gives me the feeling she maybe retired..
