Just think, in a few weeks/months, there will never be anything printed again (new) that reads as "Jim Henson's" on 'The Muppets.'

Perhaps it's time we start hitting the stores before we no longer see this title on anything else again?

Well, then again, there's always ebay.

What do you think about that? No more "Jim Henson's" on 'The Muppets.'

It's as sad as no more new Charlie Brown comic strips...

That was one of the first things that crossed my mind when I heard the Disney news. It's a terribly sad reality. I scoured my local mall and one nearby, but there wasn't much Muppety goodness to be found.:sympathy: Just a couple shirts, and some action figures...

I don't think it will be that drastic. Unless we get a signed afidavit saying that they can no longer use "Jim Henson's Muppets" on anything, it's pretty much an unsure topic.

Not as sad as there being new ones written by someone else!

Guess what?

Paige Braddock, a cartoonist in her own right and the marketing/merchandising whiz at Creative Associates (Schulz' office), has been drawing a new line of Peanuts books based on the movies and specials of Charlie Brown. They look actually pretty decent.

I doubt she'll be doing any new art for comic strips, though I do believe she's drawing new art for merchandise, so that Snoopy tee shirt you see at the store MIGHT not be taken from some of Schulz's work.
