It's funny how we used to rip those Longboxes to shreds and now they're so collectable! (Depending on what album it was, I suppose...some people make profits auctioning off the first few Beatles longboxes--with no CD's in them---to collectors!)

I bought this CD 10 years ago while on vacation in Philadelpha. It truly IS a collector's item, because it's didn't remain in print very long. I remember that I bought the last copy of this CD at one of the city's record stores (forget the name). If you ever spot it on eBay or at MC, I strongly recommend buying it.

Trivia: this CD is not just noteworthy for being a tribute compilation, but also because it includes Jim Henson's first ("Five People in My Family") and last ("Air") SS recordings.

Just a reminder for anyone who might be interested, that there are only a few hours left for the auction of the Henson Sesame CD.

It really is a great album. One of my favorite Muppet/Sesame collections. I was lucky to find an extra copy a few years back.
