The martians were "Yip Yips". As for the honkers, they didn't have any individual names, per se.
The Twiddlebugs were a family and I'm not sure if they had names like "mama, papa, sister and brother", though. The particular sketch I'm referring to is the "Let's Take a Ride in the Family Car!".

I am so excited that there are so many fans out there. I am an avid Jim Henson Fan. I collect vintage plush, and I have everything from Roosevelt Franklin from Sesame Street, to Traveling Mack from the Fraggles, to Scooter from the Muppets. Feel free to Email me. I would love to hear from you. I do have a question for anyone who may know. What is the name of the balding blue man on sesame street that ran into Grover wherever he went? I have always wondered. This is a really neat site, and a live chatroom would be so awesome don't you think?

Rowlf was made in 1963, the same year that he made the first muppet prime time apperance in a weekly show. At the time he was in a dog food comercial.

I saw that commercial on TV land, and recorded it many years ago. The oldest one I have is from the 70s I believe. Sorry.

He was a regualer on The Jimmy Dean Show witch was back in the early 60s I think though I don't know the exact dates.

but I have the book about Jim Hensons work and it says 1963, 1956 was the year the muppets was named the muppets.

Anyone know where I can find a complete list of Sesame Street albums put out from 1969 through 1985? I still need to know also which album in that time frame more like before 1980 had Ernies Tiger Hunt on it? Thanks for any info everyone.
