Very cool. It looks great. I want one! I hope that "Palisades direct" means that non-Ccollectors Club members can also buy it. I haven't really been keeping up very well.

Palisades Direct is just a regular online store on the Palisades site. I have no idea why people have trouble with this.

It looks like the sculpt got tweaked to and I like it. It's a very good likeness and I love the texture being added.

I guess maybe its wrong of me to say this, but why are they not making Jim...Human. Like a mcfarlian figure. I would love a realistic Jim figure performing kermit. Dont get me wrong, I will buy this one too. Just adding a "wouldnt it be nice" to the thread

Please dont call me any names!! Whats up with that...is it a personal joke?

Possibly because we have lives outside the Palisades board?
J/K. Thanks for your reply.

First, Palisades does not have the liocense for that. They only have the license for the puppets. That is probably the main reason.

Second, the line is for muppets. Each figure is meant to look like a puppet, while not looking like a puppet. They are meant to be living creatures made of fur and foam and felt. Throwing a human Jim Henson into the mix with a Kermit hand puppet would look odd when you have the various Kermit figures on the same shelf.

Third, it would be kind of creepy. At least to me it would be kind of creepy. It's one thing to have a statue as a tribute to the man, it's another thing to have a figure with articulation. To me, it wouldn't seem right. I don't know if the same goes for the folks at Palisades.

Fourth, which Jim do you make? Young Jim? Early 70's Jim? Older gray beard 80's jim? While Jim aged, the puppet never did.
