There's a real nice article about Jim Henson in the new Mental Floss magazine. It traces the history of the Muppets from their beginnings up to and beyond Jim's death.

Blurb from www.MentalFloss.com:

The Muppets take mental_floss

by Kelly Ferguson — You know the Jim Henson everyone knows. You know the quiet innovator who—with the help of a frog, a pig, and an oversized bird—taught the world to put down the rubber ducky and appreciate the sponsorship of the letter ‘B.' But what about the Jim Henson who tooled up to his high school graduation in a Rolls Royce? Or dreamed about using puppets to create world peace? This isn't just the story of a boy and his frog. It's the tale of what happens when a high school genius ends up with a little too much felt on his hands.

Hmm, I have never heard of this magazine. Is there anywhere I can read the whole story?
