Y'know, even if HIT isn't the biggest distributor in the world, who cares?

I think the deal they made with Henson could lift them up to a whole new level.

If I may put on my Capitalist hat for a moment ...

Our job is to make sure there is a ton (or tonne - this is an international forum) of demand for the Henson stuff. This will result in more Henson stuff in the marketplace, more money for Henson, and new Henson projects launched.

Can we pre-order yet?

Actually it seems as if they are a slightly bigger home entertainment distributor now than a few years ago. HIT actually now controls nearly 13% of the children's video market making it the fourth largest children's video distributor in the USA. The Henson deal will give them more properties to work with but i don't think they need it to bring them to a new level. They may be a mid-tier distributor but they are a hotter producer of programming than Henson.
