Jerry & The Monotones were among my favourite SS characters. They were so groovy.I loved their style. My two favourite musical numbers from them are"Sad"and"Telephone Rock".Does this muppet band still exist on SS?It would be neat if they had a compilation of their musical numbers on DVD.

Hey Pug:

You're in luck.

The Sesame DVD: "ROCK AND ROLL!" with Count on the cover has the song "Telephone Rock" from the 1970's.

It's not much, but it's a start.

Long Live Jerry

I am fortunate enough to have about 30 seconds of Little Jerry and Comapny singing "Mad!" which at first is like a contradiction in terms. ******-off hippies?
But that was one of my all-time faves that I was lucky enough to catch off our PBS station back in the early 90's. PBS was funny that way. Throughout the 90's you might catch a vintage skit that might never be seen again. But you had to look sharp. So that was a good catch.

Even if the video equivalents are hard to find, the LP's are a lot easier to come across. Now you just have to be lucky to still have a working turntable.
