Scotty...gone....its hard to believe, when he is (in the tv series, next generation) the only living member of The Original Series...

Poor Scotty...rest in peace...

Not to be nitpicky... Oh what the heck, I can't help myself. Admiral McCoy shows up in the original TNG pilot, and Spock had a two-parter. Then Kirk showed up in Generations coexisting with Picard for a little while, though then he died. So that's questionable. But definitely Scotty, McCoy, and Spock. There's actually a fun Star Trek novel that features the adventures of the three of them together within the TNG timeline.

Yeah, I was sad to hear about James Doohan. Always loved Scotty. It wasn't a huge surprise, knowing how frail he was, but it was a shame nonetheless...
