Wow, so this was something new. I usually can't remember my dreams these days, but this was aboput as vivid as it gets.

I had a dream where I simply turned on the tv, and bore witness to an episode of the Fox proposed prime time Muppet show.

A little "PG" logo flashed, and the opening sketch was a hillarious spoof of Queer Eye for The straight Guy, entitled Moi Pig For The Green Guy...Piggy at her best, notably missing Frank Oz, but still classic as ever.

The musical guest was They Might Be Giants(not sure if theyeve ever worked with the muppets, but they need to!)

The look was very starkly different than anyhting done by the Muppets before. It has sketches, but it has a more HBO cinematic look(or like on AVMMC) The humor was much more edgy than anything previously done by the Muppets, working on dual levels to appease kids and adults, as well as fly a hum dinger 'whoah' missle with some obscure/inuendo references to those who would get it. HBO Mr. Show's Steve Odenkirk and David Cross were writing for it, and even making a cameo.

There was a very interesting skit where Pepe and Rizzo are out in th emiddle of Time Square randomly walking up to people interviewing them(I actually thought of this long before Kermit On The Street Kimmel segment) Rowlf was back to prominence, as was Scooter...but also of prominence of course was Pepe, Beaker, Bunsen, Sam Eagle. No longer so much the vaiety show feel, but closer to the Jim Henson Hour. A lot of new Muppets I couldnt make heads or tails over. Even Digit was back. One segment contained live action Muppet Babies, and a cameo by one of th echaracters from Dinosaurs. There didnt seem to be any boundaries, like Mopatop...characters from throughout the Muppet ages and franchises seemed to come and go in the background.

All in all one of the best dreams I've had in ages, and I wish it would have come true.

Talking about Muppets dreams, I had this several months ago.

I was reading the tv guide, and I've figured out that Tele Più (Italian Sat) was airing a special called: Happy birthday Jim. It was a special celebration for Jim Henson's anniversary. I've written on a piece of paper the time: 8:30 pm. At the time I've switched on the TV and there was a black screen saying Happy Birthday Jim. I've turned on the VCR. It consisted in some special sketches (some were old SS and TMS sketches), but I clearly remember two of them: Reporter Kermit was interviewing a giant butterfly, and three fraggles were passing trough a tunnel. As they get out, a big sign appears, and it says: Thank You Jim. Than the scene fades to black. The ending credits appears. I'm trying to rebuild this documentary.....hope I'll make it.
God Bless Ya
