Or who could forget "The Pirate Movie"? That wonderful musical-comedy parody-homage to the classic Gilbert & Sullivan written play "Pirates of Penzance"?

Well, we had a nice little break there. I hope everyone had a chance to stretch.

Anyway, Jackie and I may joke around a lot, but we really would like to honor the Muppeteers. Sure, they just say that they're doing their job. But it's some kind of job they have. They magically transform bits of fabric and foam into something that's real and alive. Something that you care about and identify with. They can bring smiles to the faces of adults, and fill children's hearts with joy. That is some job. It's high time that the Muppeteers past and present get recognized for what they do, so it is no surprise that they are the winners of this next Golden Muffin!

I usually don't do watermelon either...I do a good Pacino, good Cagney, very good Shatner, an alright orange, and a pretty good peach...but never did a watermelon. Maybe I shoudl try it some time.
