I know what you feel like!

I have two pet birds, while one (Hayley) is very affectionate to me, the other (Heidi) is not really interested in me, she likes my mom more. Sometimes animals just tend to get attached to one person. I feed and play with both girls everyday and still Heidi just seems to stay closer to Mom than me when she gets home.

I'm sure if you keep repeating your actions Tommie will like you!

Aw Snowthy, I'm sorry to hear that. Pets can be so silly sometimes!

I think I agree with Kate, though... maybe it's something you're doing or wearing, something that you might not even be aware of. Are the family members you mentioned doing something specific that you're not doing, that you've noticed? It can be really hard to tell sometimes, what pets do and don't respond to, and what they just simply will and won't respond to. I'm sure Tommie doesn't hate you, though!

Or, like Faylo said, some pets just naturally respond to certain people and they don't respond to others. I do think that if you just keep trying, hopefully she'll be a little more affectionate towards you.

Just try to give her a little more time... see what happens. Good luck!

They're doing the exact same things I TRY to do: give her a little pet, a little rub, a little "coochie-coochie-coo".

Just be happy he's still alive. My bunny Roger died after I had him for a week.

Maybe he just wants you to accept him for who he is, a cranky little bunny!!

One of our kitties loves on anyone who comes over, but she's always a little brat to us. But I love her so much! This last weekend, she was actually being cuddly, so it was nice.

Good luck!

Guys... Tommie's a SHE! I know Tommie is an unusual name for a girl bunny, but her previous owners were convinced she was a he until we had to take her to the vet to discover she had urinary tract infection and she turned out to be a she.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Rabbits don't like me either. Every one I tried to pick up scrated me so joine the club.

My bunny Tommie has never really been all that effectionate, before I got her her previous owners kept her in a dark basement for over a year and they only visited her once a day to give her food and water, so that probably effected her "childhood" (because bunnies are "full-grown" when they're four and that's old she is now, when they're five they're considered senior citizens in bunny years). She has never really let me love her, rub her, scratch her, pet her, et cetera all the much... but funnily she ALWAYS lets my dad give her a good petting, my nana and aunt told me they when they "visited" her she let them give her a tiny little petting, and tonight my niece and nephew visited and she let them pet her all they wanted to... so it HAS to be me because whenever I try to pet her she runs aways, or if I try to get a look at her in her cage she'll actually give me the cold shoulder. How do you like that, my own flesh and bun hates her own "father"!
