My bunny Tommie has never really been all that effectionate, before I got her her previous owners kept her in a dark basement for over a year and they only visited her once a day to give her food and water, so that probably effected her "childhood" (because bunnies are "full-grown" when they're four and that's old she is now, when they're five they're considered senior citizens in bunny years). She has never really let me love her, rub her, scratch her, pet her, et cetera all the much... but funnily she ALWAYS lets my dad give her a good petting, my nana and aunt told me they when they "visited" her she let them give her a tiny little petting, and tonight my niece and nephew visited and she let them pet her all they wanted to... so it HAS to be me because whenever I try to pet her she runs aways, or if I try to get a look at her in her cage she'll actually give me the cold shoulder. How do you like that, my own flesh and bun hates her own "father"!

Bunnies can be odd creatures. I've had rabbits before. I highly doubt if it's just you. I had the same problem with my two bunnies.

Have you forced it to eat out of your hand before? Then you could pet Tommie while he's eating and let him get "used" to you. With my first bunny, my mom had me give him treats once a day, but he could only have them if he was being held by me.

I hand her a banana chip every day, and she'll actually snatch it out of my hand, she won't eat out of it.

And as for giving bunnies treats, I was always taught that you shouldn't give bunnies treats like that on a regular basis, I was told every other week or twice a month should be enough.

Maybe you have long nails or something?

Sorry, but that's the best I can come up with.

You kiddin'? My mom is ALWAYS hounding me about clipping my nails... if she thinks they look too long she's like "jeez, when are you going to cut those girly things?" "Do you want people to think you're gay?" "What are those on your fingers, claws?"

Well, I doubt it's long nails, but it's probably something physical about you. It may even be something you're not even aware of. Perhaps a certain color you like to wair, or your hair, eyes, Etc. Good luck, and I hope she will learn to at least tollerate you. lol
Sorry if this wasn't very helpful.

Will you also live in a cage and do all of your business in the metal tray underneath it?
