There is a clip seen in Sesame Street: 20 and Still Counting. This clip has Susan and the cast singing "You're My Baby Now" to Miles. There are several humans in this scene. Anyway, there is a teenager on the steps behind Susan, who has dark brown hair and a blue shirt. Is this Petey, who appeared on the show in the 1980s? Was this guy even a regular character on the show?

Petey was a regulaer though I can't remember the segment you mentioned. There were a few teen on the show along with Gina durring the 80s and all of them are gone except her of course.

I think Petey was around a little before Gina though.

I know that petey was a regular. I meant that if the character in the background wasn't Petey then was it a regular character.

I seem to remember a friend of Linda's named Nicky, Mickey, or Ricky, one of those Icky's, anyway, I think she worked in the library with her. I wonder if this was her?

Petey was on the show from 1984-1986 (Seasons 16 and 17) That episode you mention with Miles was the Season Premire from the 18th Season, so that was right after Petey left the show. So that couldn't have been him. One thing I found odd was Petey's name was never in the closing credits.

No prob. I don't know how long she's been on the show. I've only seen her in one episode (2173).

Do you know if this song was part of a street plot or if it was an insert? Or could it have been one of those street scenes that originated as part of a story and then reaired as an insert? Since Miles was adopted in the 17th season, I guess this episode wasn't from any of the epsiodes concerning his adoption (I was recently wondering if it was from the episode where he got adopted, or from the episode after that).

I have a feeling that Petey was the first name of the actor named Petey. it seems like most kids and teenagers on the show are named after the actors who play them (The current actors playing Miles and gabby don't have those names, but that's because the current actors did not originally portray them).
