I notice some TV networks (particularly FOX) will plays their shows and other programs on a very low volume, then once the commercials are on it's like being in some weird teenager's car with the radio blasting. Is this just happening on my end, or are any of you noticing this?

Loude advertiseing

Yup! Yup! And it's annoying. Another reason why Idon't watch TV very often. If you get one of those special TVs that ajusts the volume for you you won't have this problum.

Whats worse for me is that when my heat or air conditioning kicks on, it's so loud that I have to turn my tv way up to hear it. As soon as it shuts off the tv is blaring loud and I have to turn it back down.

It must be common world-wide. A friend of mine has talked to me about how annoying it is to be watching Australian TV and to be blasted by the needlessly loud volume of the ads. :frown:

Right, most networks put their commericals on at a higher volume, heh.
