Again, deviantART's attempted to give me viruses as well, but McAfee's been able to stop those before. Ironically, another time this happened was on Colin Mochrie's official website.

That dang art place is just SOOOO clunky.

Anyone else ever have one of those fake errors that says that there is "Malicious viruses or software" or some crap like that? Is that real, or a scam to buy an antivirus software that doesn't work?

It's done good for me in the past, but again, it's got its share of flaws.

Scams, Drtooth, scams.

All I use it fire fox. I can't stand Internet Explorer. I only use it if I have no other choice.

Sounds like Spyware and Adware to me.

Norton is a good system. I was never fond of McAfee. Technically, we're supposed to use a couple different virus systems and run scans every couple of days, but nobody really does that.

Viruses are just going to get more plentiful - even for Mac users and many of them will be caught quite unaware because the platform relies too heavily on the fact that hackers don't care enough to attack Apple's smaller share of the market. That's changing.

You will probably have to run a Spyware removal application. Also - do not download fonts from free sources unless you know the company. That's bitten me before. It's also a leading cause of infection.
I myself use and endorse Norton. I also reccomend Spybot Search & Destroy, cause it is one heck of a good spyware remover.

Well I used to have norton on my computer, no good if you ask me. Also wouldn't use some of the free source stuff as I feel if ruined my computer.
