You know the song "D, d, d, d,"

"Daddy dear, oh Daddy dear,
Do dogs have dreams do ducks have ears."
and so on.

Was it ever released on any album?

I just listened to my old dear piece,
The Frogs in the Glen. Apparently, they
used an uillean bagpipe, though the frog
is playing a highland bagpipe. Great song.
I've started arranging it for the highland
bagpipes.

I would think not. If there are no Muppets or Muppet performers involved in the recording, then it's not a Muppet recording and therefore doesn't fit on a Muppet album ... wait a minute, what about those cheap 70's Muppet ripoff records? That's a subject that deserves its own thread.

Erracht,

I don't think so either. I've wanted this and a bunch of other of these songs released on CD for some time, but haven't heard anything about it. It may be some sort of copyright issue or something. I dunno. Some others I'd love:

Pinball Count
Lower Case n

...and some others. I'm at work. Can't think.

You get the alphabet and learning it with nice ss songs
Maybe we can get something started at the site, so henson productions make one???

Is the "L" song on anything? The one with Bert & Ernie -- "la la la la (insert word beginning with L)" I love Bert's "linoleum"! Too funny!

I made an MP3 of it if anyone is interested. It's as the best quality that one can get from an SP Videotape.

Thanks a bunch BG - just started collecting the CDs & hadn't gotten around to those yet.

Unfortunately, I can't play the CDs with my kid, 'cause she doesn't understand why there isn't anything on the TV!
