Hi ho, Muppet/Sesame fans! I think Prairie Dawn hasn't been on SS so much anymore because of the new format that features new sketches like Cookie's Letter of the Day, the Count's Number of the Day, and Journey To Ernie, and Noggin Channel killed Play With Me Sesame with Prairie because of Tiny Planets (was it a Sesame Workshop show???) Is Prairie still around?

Of course PWMS was a Sesame Workshop show. They said so right before the show started. "This show was created for Noggin by Sesame Workshop."
And of course Prairie Dawn is still with us. She's one of Fran Brille's classic characters and she appeared in Season 35 during the Letter of the Day segments. Heck, that's how you knew it was a new segment except for the ones for the letters P and Q.
Hope this helps and have a good day.

Besides the Letter of the Day segment, Prairie will appear in the Street scene of 4063, entitled Elmo's Chicken Dream...

Elmo had a fun dream about learning a great chicken dance called the "Clucky Clucky," but now that Elmo's awake, he really wants to have his chicken dream all over again. Elmo asks various people for help in trying to figure out how to have his chicken dance dream again. Maria tries to help Elmo by singing him a lullaby, but he finds it difficult to fall asleep with all the noise on the street. Then, Rosita tries to help Elmo by singing him a chicken lullaby in Spanish, but he still doesn't have his favorite chicken dream! Finally, Big Bird comes along and shows Elmo a book called, "I Dream of Chicken," which says that in order to dream about a dancing chicken, Elmo has to stare at a dancing chicken right before he goes to sleep. Soon, Bob, who is dressed as a chicken, walks by and agrees to help Elmo. Elmo stares at Bob who is dancing a chicken dance as he is trying to fall asleep. Elmo also asks Rosita to play her chicken lullaby at the same time in order to help him fall asleep faster. Elmo finally falls asleep, and is now back in his chicken dream singing and dancing the "CLUCKY CLUCKY!" Harvey Fierstein - Sings "Everything's Coming up Noses".

Say, am I the only one who sees Cookie Monster and Prairie Dawn becoming a couple?

Well, Prairie Dawn is serving to be what was missing since Jim wasn't around to play Ernie of Kermit -- a "fall guy" role.

I think Prairie Dawn has a bit of a mean streak in her...making the big tough monsters like Cookie and Herry play wussy parts in her plays like flowers or butterflies. Funny stuff.

I also like how Prairie Dawn plays the piano. She just bangs her hands on the keys and music comes out. That's how I used to play the piano.

Just kidding. Prairie Dawn is a nice little Muppet.

Actually, this is very interesting. The couple of Cookie and Prairie have been around since the early 90s. I know it's newer, but I actually think skits with the 2 of them are pretty funny.

A better couple would be Prairie and Herry Dawn-Monster.
