Is It "Ok" or "Okay?"

Why is it that the dictionary on my computer always thinks "okay" is spelled wrong, then? OK isn't.

I guess it depends on the computer, because mine has no problem with "okay."

"Okay" is the right word if you are being "proper" ...But I always shorten it to "ok" because I'm a slow typer and it is easier that way...sometimes I just say "k," forgetting the "o" altogether...

Use what you want...we certainly won't hang you for it...
