Intriguing Photo Essay

This is way off the topic of Muppets but I found it interesting...

I stumbled across this photo essay of a motorcycle trip through the Chernobyl area. It has a lot of information (like asphalt does not absorb radiation so the road is safe, stepping off the road is a different story) and some impressive photographs and commentary (commentary on Chernobyl as well as how life has changed since the fall of the USSR). One person described it to me as 'more of a prayer or a pilgrimage than a journey' and several have called it haunting. Anyway, thought I would post the link for anyone who might be interested. I think it is well worth the read.
