Anyone looking for puppet building experience in or around NYC may be interested in this:

Puppets, Puppeteers, Puppetry!

Interns needed to aid in puppet construction for Basil Twist's recent commission for the opera Hansel and Gretel.

We are looking for reliable interns for September through October, who can make a part-time (or full time if they're willing) commitment to us, working at our downtown Manhattan studio. Travel stipend available (we will purchase monthly unlimited metro cards) for someone in the city. New graduates are welcome too. Unpaid internship, school credit available.

We have A LOT of work, and interns will have A LOT of hands-on puppet building opportunities, especially as we experiment with new materials here in the shop.
