Does anybody ever wonder if there was ever any consideration for the Muppets from the international versions of Sesame Street to appear in the finale from The Muppet Movie, or for them to appear in The Muppets: A Celebration of 30 Years?

I mean, TMM had almost every Muppet, so it would have made sense for them to ahve appeared. As far as I know, The Jim Henson Company created most of the puppets from the international versions of Sesame Street, so they would be considered Muppets. Then again, who knows what the transporation costs would have been. Most of the puppets were sent to California from London and New York, but I would imagine that the puppets created for the international co-productions would be stored near the filming locations.

The 30th anniversary special would have also made sense to include non-U.S. Sesame Street characters, since that was celebrating the Mupepts 30th anniversary.
