Anyway this show will last only 15 Minutes long. that's 10 Minutes longer than Sam and Friends. There are Certian characters that are look a likes to Lenny the Lizard, Grover, Wilkins, Skip and Scoop, Scudge, Splurge, and the Rock and Roll Monster.
If I were you I'd check out www.dotBoom.ca, Brian Hogg has really done some amazing stuff! He recently changed his time from 1/2 hour to 15 minutes. If you have 15 minute shows you can get episodes out faster, and keep your viewer base up. If you go for longer shows I feel there is about a couple of weeks before you can get another episode out to the public. Also, if you have more puppets you'll need more puppeteers. It's easier to get everyone together for a couple of hours for a 15 minute show, than getting everyone together for a couple of days for a half hour show.
I would try to place the first episode on Youtube and Google video (to reel in viewers) then put future episodes on your own site.
Hope this helps.
Tom
The half-hour shows required about a month, considering I have a day-job, and each episode needs writing, some set building, and puppets to be built. But if you're just using the same puppets, and not needing new sets all the time, then it would cut down on the time a fair bit.
Also, what's Sam and Friends? I'm not familiar with it.
Sam & Friends was a 5 minute show Jim Henson Produced from 1955 to 1961. the episodes consists of the Muppets Lip-Synching to records as well as performing comedy sketches that is usually carried on to this day. As for my Inside the Cube Ideas, I posted a Help Wanted add concerning this show for those who are interested.
