Do any of you watch Inside the Actor's Studio on the Bravo channel? I love this show. These are probably the best in depth interviews I have ever seen because we get to learn things we probably wouldn't ever know otherwise. We really get to have a look inside who these actors, directors, filmmakers are as people and artists. The newest episode was from last week with Elton John and it was amazing. He is such an interesting man. He also played a lot of great songs. And today was a new episode with Rosie O'Donnell. I haven't watched it yet, but I recorded it on Tivo for later. That one should be neat too. I've never seen her in that kind of interview before.
Here is my question... Throughout the week, they show reruns of some of the past episodes from the last few years. They repeat the Robin Williams one a lot. I like these but have seen them a million times. The show has been on the air for over 10 years and they have interviewed so many amazing artists but they never rerun any of the earlier shows from before 2 years ago or so. I want to be able to see the ones with Carol Burnett and Mary Tyler Moore and all the "old" favorites. Why don't they ever show these again? Is there a way that I can see these older interviews?
Also, wouldn't it be great to see Frank Oz, Dave Goelz or Carroll Spinney interviewed by James Lipton? We would learn even more.
