Hey, I just watched the video. I love your idea! If they don't go for it, at the very least they will probably send you a thank you letter or something because they do seem like a really nice team over there.

I cartoon and doodle alot and I draw Stephen constantly, so I have to say that I think you really nailed his eyebrows, lol. Obviously you havent got as far as his ears yet, but I thought I would mention something. Since I pay alot of attention to his face for trying to draw him, I noticed that his right ear (left when we look at him) is a much different shape than the other one, it sticks out quite a bit. I just thought I would call attention to that since you plan on giving the puppet to him and you want it to look just like him!

Thanks, I'm thinking the idea will go over pretty well, too. Thanks for the compliments regarding the eyebrow. I'm actually planning to make the eyebrow movable, so I can do a close-up of him and have him do that characteristic look.

As far as the ears go, I have them built, actually, but haven't attached them to the head. Will do that once the face is attached. The ears and the eyebrows will be the elements that give it the strongest caricature, I think.

Oh cool. Well I will have to tune in to see the finished puppet! And the moving eyebrows.

p.s. I don't know how I never saw your site before, but it is awesome. I've been watching some of the rants with the Brian character. Really, really funny. AND you're Canadian! So it's stuff that actually applies to me (like the DMCA thing that's being pushed right now). And I love how he makes these really great points, but then he sort of backtracks and just calls them "jerks" because he(you?) is obviously frustrated; it sounds like conversations that I have with some of my techie friends.

I'd love to have you on the show if you become a Canuck.

oh if only non-paying gigs could support the lavish lifestyle that barely-paying gigs do!

I tell ya, if I wasn't used to the 110 degree weather here, (and granted it gets to 122 during the summer, but nobody's ever used to that...ever), I'd very seriously consider moving to Toronto. just seems to be more fun than what we've got down here. (oh and hello improv mecca)

...and it seems to be quickly becoming a puppetry mecca too. Lots of I.T. work for your hubby too.

I think we need to start a "Bring Stacey to Canada" group on Facebook. :stick_out_tongue:
