I liked all three. Really exciting action and adventure scenes with amazing stunt work and special effects. But the original Raiders of the Lost Ark is by far my favorite. In fact it's one of my all time favorite movies period. The big rock, the snakes, Indi manuevering himself underneath the fast moving truck, the climactic scene where Indi and Karen Allen close their eyes. Just awesome! And loved the John Williams music, esp. in the climactic finale.
I like Roger Ebert's comments about this movie:

"'Raiders of the Lost Ark' is an out-of-body experience, a movie of glorious imagination and breakneck speed that grabs you in the first shot, hurtles you through a series of incredible adventures, and deposits you back in reality two hours later -- breathless, dizzy, wrung-out, and with a silly grin on your face."

Yes they are three excellent movies. Let's just hope the fourth one does justice to the standards of the original trilogy.

I agree with you zeldazipple.
Temple of Doom and Last Crusade are both so chock full of tongue in cheek humour that it makes the humour of Raiders seem non-existent by comparison in my honest opinion

I find it interesting that Crusade ranks so high here... when it is actually ranked very low by most Spielbergian fans... interesting

I actually REALLY love Last Crusade. I was just the right age when it came out, I think. That film made me want to BE Indiana Jones. I really love the combination of action and humor, especially the dynamic between Ford and Connery. What a great movie!
