Cookie imagines he has magic touch and turns everything into cookies, including accidently turning Bob and Susan into cookies.

Big Bird helps Cookie to stop than Susan brings out cookies and CM still is tramatized by his imagining and think he turned BB into cookies.


Big Bird thinking about how Forgetfull Jones imagines what it would be like if everyone on SS forgets as much as him.


David keeps calling BB Max.

Maria and I can't remember the other people keep forgetting what they ordered.

BB goes back to his nest and couple of girls walk by and say Hi Oscar.

Last BB runs into Snuffy and he can't seem to remember who his friend is.

I definitely remember the Cookie Monster imagination sequence. They would sometimes run it after the "King Minus" cartoon. After the cartoon, Big Bird and Cookie were seen together talking about the cartoon, and Cookie began to imagine "what if everything me touched turned to cookies?"

I don't recall the other one, but I do seem to remember Maria imagining that she was like Forgetful Jones. She imagined herself in a cowboy hat & calling herself "Forgetful Maria." Maybe that was part of the one you were describing.

Here's one I'd love to see again: David and Maria imagine that they are the two-headed monster! In the "dream sequence," we see them wearing one oversized sweater with Maria on the left and David on the right. They argue with themselves over a few things. Talking in "two-headed monster" style.

Hi Sesameguy! Until someone posts this clips on youtube, or includes it on a DVD box set, here's a synopsis of that clip with David and Maria's two-headed monster dream sequence
(I always love the transitions, where the camera gradually loses focus and harps play):

David (in an exaggerated monster voice): Okay Okay Okay I got a joke. Why did the chicken cross the road?
Maria: Why?
David: TO GET TO OTHER SIDE!
Maria: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Maria: (Picks up broom) Okay now we have to sweep!
David: (Closing eyes) I don't want to sweep, I want to REST!
etc. etc. etc. until they've had enough arguing. Segue back to real life.

The couple decide maybe being a two-headed monster isn't all it's cracked up to be, so they decide to move on.

Now they argue in their monster voices over whether to go to the movies or the park.

The real two-headed monster is there watching all this, and they decide "Peoples is the craziest peoples!"

I too remember that scene playing after "King Minus" when I watched the show as a girl; two other details stand out in my head: Cookie Monster declared "Me King Cookie!" when the imagination sequence began, and snapped out of it only after some cast member (who'd supposedly turned to cookies) intervened. (I know it was one of the human regulars, but still forget which one!)
