I'm trying to get how this works

Every time I see an antique SS collectible, my first impulse is to post about it here. So, I do that, but here's the thing: NOBODY RESPONDS! Maybe I'm misunderstanding the whole point of this SM forum, hence the reason of this thread. Can somebody please explain this to me?
