First and foremost, make sure all of the images and pages are backed up on your computer. You'll probably regret losing what looks like a ton of work.
I'd recommend just to keep the site as long as you aren't being charged for it or don't have any issues posting copyrighted images.
I've had my current site for nearly 3 years and the only people that even go there are my friends, but I keep it up anyway. As of right now, there are 4,104 hits on yours, which is far more than any of my sites ever have (and considering its only been up since, what, May?)... and my old one was up for nearly 4 years.
If you want hits, just spiff up the page (if you need design advice, ask me) and wait for Google to index it. Just remember that this TAKES TIME and unless you are already getting lots of hits or actually pay them (which is ridiculous), it won't happen for a while. To remedy this, just find an appropriate forum and plug away.
Sites about obscure actors/actresses do get hits so long as they are linked on all the major sites that reference them -- so if your site isn't already linked from tv.com's 'Whose Line' guide (assuming that they have one...), try and get it to be so.
