My phone (I stress "my" because my mother & I have separate numbers.) rang before. And who was it but the funeral home that did the shoddy job on my dad nearly a year ago!! They probably thought they got my mother's number, but got me instead. So they said they wanted to ask a few questions. I said "Not interested...goodbye." and hung up. What I really wanted to do was tell them off in spades. Granted it will be a year ago on Friday that my dad died, but how dare they call?! My mother even told them last year that she didn't appreciate their services.
I'm guessing they keep records on who use their funeral home, otherwise why would they call around this time, right?

But it really sucks though!
Ohhhh DEFINITELY!
When my dad was alive,he was the one that wrote letters & made phone calls when things went wrong (or when things were right too) If I tried talking to the funeral home before,I'd get tongue tied & eventually start crying.

Maybe when they get it in their minds that you're p o'd.Then maybe they will stop calling.I agree it does suck though.

Gosh, that is awful that they called you right now of all times. Maybe after the anniversary passes and you're less emotional you could write a letter really telling them off and let them know that they did a horrible job. It's just a thought. *Hugs* to you and I'll be thinking of you on Friday.

This was the first time they've called since last July,Joey.
But you didn't know....so that's OK.
