Heh, that's sweet that you thought of me! I lived in Germany for a year, 2002-2003. I'm majoring in German in college. I will probably spend the spring semester of 2006 in either Germany or Austria, studying abroad. I also hope to spend about 20 days in Germany in August 2005, because that is between my trips to India and England, and it will be cheaper to stay in Europe than to fly home. So I go as often as I can!
Your trips next year sound great, I wish I could come with you! Its hard coming back to a quiet place here when its been non stop excitement pretty much for 6+ weeks travelling round the world! I just want to travel again soon hopefully with someone other than family.

Awesome, can't wait! Maybe you should make a sort of "tourists' guide to the Muppets!" I'm going to England next year and will prolly want to see some of the stuff you did!

Well I actually missed out on a few things I would have loved to see, I didnt find Jim Henson's old Apartment, Film locations of the great muppet caper, the studios where TMS was filmed - we got very close to there, I don't think theyre open to the public anyway but I would have liked to see that place even from the outside.

I saw a few places in London that looked familar to the Great muppet caper but I doubt they are. I took photos anyway just incase!

I'm sure you'll have a great time in England, its a fun place especially in London and has so much history. Be prepared for bad weather and lots of expense!

Yeah, I kinda figured on that. English weather is probably like German weather, where it never stops raining.

We were lucky in Germany for the few days we were there the weather was pretty good. It was a perfect day on the day we went on the Rhein tour with a blue sky!
