my idea for a new muppet show would be kind of like a sitcom, with stes of the muppet theater and the muppet boarding house (from muppets in space) with other sets as needed. basically, the show would be about about the muppets, but different ones being in the spot light each week. for example, one show that i was thinking about would revolve around zoot, and some big hollywood hot shot agent, say like a guest star like jonathan winters, would come in and gives zoot a bigger job that can pay him a lot of money. that leads zoot to quit not only the electric mayhem, but leave the muppet show and try's his new gig but doesn't like and goes crawling back to the muppet show. that would be the a story. the b story of the show would be the electric mayhem finding someone who could replace zoot by holding auditions. they pick the person and it turns out to be zippity zap, and although he admits he doesn't know how to play the sax, he tries to learn it within a few days, but dr. teeth and the gang let him go after zoot comes back.

that's a possible story from the type of show that i'm suggesting

Not to be picky, but I don't know if I like that idea either. If there is going to be a muppet how I want there to be many different muppets in each episode.

there will be a number of muppets in each episode, like the zoot episode would have kermit, piggy, rowlf, fozzie, etc. with lew zealand, statler, wadlorf, etc. but in that episode, zoot would get the most lines since it would be his episode...

I don't know, it might work. It's better than the Muppet sleepover, house tour thing.

I think there is a reason why we aren't writers. Jonathon Winters? He's not exactly a big name star these days. Bernie Mac would make a good guest star. Robin Williams can still bring people in. I just wouldn't want to see someone like Carson Daily. He can't even speak properly. Luke du Fermage but it best in AVMMC, "He's so now, he's so today." In other words, he's a stupid trend and was used to bring teenager viewers in. I hate teenagers, they ruin everything. Glad I only have a year left.

'd rather the muppets not have guest stars. Few are good anymore. Big names aren't talented anymore. I mean, Brittany on the muppet show? No.

You know... I've always thought the Muppets would work best without guest stars or humans of any kind. I like to see certain celebs on TMS, not just because I like them, I want to see how the Muppets interact with them.

If there could be two Muppet show's i'd love an Inside Pepe's Studio, kind of like Jay Leno, it would simply be Pepe at his desk (nothing like the set they used on the IAVMMCM DVD) or moving about if possible and talking about current event's, interviwing big names, showing clips for upcoming movies etc...

I know it sounds abit hard to pull of with a puppet, but wasn't Jim Henson always trying new thing's? Instead of having Bill Barretta (Sp?) hosting it he'd be giving his very own performance (much like Jay Leno) through Pepe. Sometimes Pepe could interview one of his friends say Kermit or Piggy etc..., He could have the Electric Mayhem guest star and play music at the end but he wouldn't really be associated with the Muppets, it'd basically be Pepe's show when occasionally a Muppet would make an appearance. It'd be shot infron of a life audiance and be a daily thing.

I'm from the UK so we really don't have any show's like this but I remember when back in September 2001 I went tp America (I know bad timeing) and I just loved watching Jay, he talked about the sad events of Sept 11th, what was happening on friends that night everything and I'd love to see a show like this but having Pepe host it.

Now mind you if there can only be one Muppet show at a time, then i'd hate for that one to be picked, I'd like some kind of Muppet sitcom, with special guest stars appearing every now and again but not taking the focus of the Muppet's. Like someone mentioned on page 1 using Zoot as an example, that's the kind of thing i'd like to see.

So about my Inside Pepe's Studio or better yet Night with Pepe idea?

OK, so back to the drawing board....

How about:

MUPPET HEIGHTS
The Muppets run their own hotel. There's a lot of scope there for cameos, musical numbers and sketches.

I can just see Fozzie & Gonzo as porters, and Kermit as the hotel boss. Oh, and all hotels need a kitchen, complete with Swedish chef! Obviously the cameos can be the hotel guests.
