Here is a skit I wrote:
(Zoe comes in Elmo's house)
Zoe:Hi, Elmo. What are you doing?
Elmo:Nothing much. But now that you're here, I can finally perform my magic trick.
(Elmo takes out a box and saw)
Elmo:Get in the box. Hurry! I want to saw you in half!
Zoe:I just want to warn you, I'm very ticklish.
Elmo:You won't feel a thing. That's why it's called magic.
Just close your eyes and relax.
Zoe:Relax?
Elmo:Now are you ready?
Oh, I can't remember how to do it right!(throws his saw away)
(Oscar scavenges Elmo's old saw)
Oscar:How does anybody like my new saw?
Note:I've never noticed before, but in this skit you can clearly see Elmo's saw-there's no sharp blades! In fact, there's no blades at all, it's just a plain piece of cardboard(or whatever they used). Makes you appreciate what a true genius that Elmo is, eh?
What does anybody think of this skit? Would it be great to put on Sesame Street?

Or, here is version B of the skit. This version is titled, "The Interest of Sawing A Girl In Half." It starts when Elmo places Zoe into a box, closes the box, then gets the chainsaw going, saws Zoe in half, splits the two halves of the box apart, lines them back up, then takes Zoe out of the box and Zoe is back in one piece. Which version of my two skits is best to put on Sesame Street?
