Yeah, it's clear Lucas was saving the best in that series for last.

Instead of saving the best for last (admittedly, it was the best of the prequels, but I still have problems with it... mostly that dialogue... ugh) he should have been trying his hardest to make all three the best movies they could be.

Yeah, But I honestly think he admitted that the merchandise was more important then the performance of at leas episode two though.
