Ever since they bought YouTube they've just screwed it up big time! Now I understand them deleting actual episodes of network shows, but gee-whiz they're starting to delete CLIPS and fan-made "music videos": my favorites list went from 40 to 25 since a bunch of old "Monsterpiece Theater" clips have been deleted and on top of all that they just deleted the one and ONLY Kathy Greenwood dedication video!

I HATE GOOGLE!

Snowthy...you know I luv ya, so don't take this post the wrong way...

But you do realise that they only take stuff off of there that was illegal to put on there in the first place, right? I know I've done it, mixing popular music with clips, etc, but really there is no way you can blame Google or YouTube if they take down illegal stuff from their site...seriously...no.

Actually, I can go further. Now I'm a One Tree Hill fan, but I can't watch it when it airs because 1) I don't have cable and can't afford it. 2) I'm at church the time it airs. Soo...I watch it via Youtube and love it..until recently. Youtube/Google only pulls stuff when the company that actually owns the material contacts them. So umm...you're whining at the wrong party...go straight to the souce! The owners! (And it works if you bug them enough.)

There's a way around the music vids. As long as explicit credit is given and it is expressed the video was made only for fun, they usually don't pull them.
