I work in my moms upholstery shop . I was looking around at the materials and got an idea. If anyone could help me find some info on the skeletal and musculature of large cats id like to make a lion like the white lion on the jim henson hour. i was hoping some one here might know where the creature shops got there resorses. i just wana make a stationary figuer basicly a life sized soft action figure. :cool:

Hi Jason, welcome to MC.

Personally I wouldn't worry about where the creature shop gets it's resources - they're working on multi-million dollar projects and often bring in experts as consultants. A good place for the average person to start looking for this kind of information is probably your local library. Not sure if you're in high school or college, but a biology teacher could probably help with this sort of thing. You could also probably find some good information just by doing a quick Google search.

well you might want to check out "van dykes taxedermy supply", they have a web site and sell lion forms (they are pricey), but they also sell glass eyes and stuff, there are also some great teddy bear supply companies that sell bulk fur,
