er...not to rain on anyone's parade here, but from what i understand...and this is NOT from Palisades, but something i picked up somewhere along the line (i think from Toyfare, but i'm not sure)...but from what i understand, they have SOLD OUT of series one.

now this does not mean that you won't find them on the shelves for awhile still, but it does mean that once they're gone, they are really gone.

having said that, let me be the first to say, don't believe everything you read. i can't even remember where i got the info, so take what i said with a grain of salt. if one of the Palisades folks would like to throw me a rope, or tell me i'm wrong i'd much appreciate it, but if i'm right i might suggest you rethink buying ones that you're just "waiting on" right now. they may not be ther when you come back.

I think they have sold out of certain characters but I know that Muppet Labs, Standard Kermit, exclusive and standard Miss Piggy are still available from EB Games online. And the others, including Tux Kermit, are still listed on TRU.com. It is getting tough to find these in store fronts though. It seems all the orders have been met and have been sold through.

Yep, that's my philosophy too. I've got Kermit and Dr Teeth from series 1 (although I'm tempted to get the Lab playset as Beaker looks great- just can't find any in this country). I shall get all of the Fozzie variations that Palisades make (because he's my favourite) and other than that I'll just be getting all of the band. I've never been into collecting stuff so I'm just going to get the ones which will look cool on a shelf somewhere

Action-Figure.com said that Palisades sold out not the stores.

They may mean that Palisades has sold through, or specific stores...because my TRU, for example is still packed to the gills with Muppet Labs, Kermit, Piggy, and the occasional Dr Teeth and Bunsen even...but after they're gone, they're gone--I'd advise people to pick these up.

Also, the Muppet Labs playset at MY !#$!@# TRU is now about four dollars less than it was when I bought it (first day I saw it), so if you've been holding off due to the price, it may be time to stop by there and see what their price is. It's well worth the price for the set, the Beaker, the Gorilla Detector...c'mon, people!

I think Ken said about a month ago that they had shipped all they had of Series 1. Now it's just a matter of what stock stores have on shelf, or in their DC.

electricmayhem- First of all, I must say you have a fantastic username! Thanks for the welcome you guys, I feel right at home here! My username comes from my gregarious cat. Here he is on his surfboard. I hope I am allowed to post pictures here:

Secondly, I post on several boards, mostly Art Asylum, Spawn, Ipecac, and the SCS (though not any more).

I have to admit, I do have a soft spot for the exclusives too. That Vanishing Cream Beaker is one of the coolest toys I have ever seen, and Tuxedo Kermit is a close second. So maybe I might be getting more than just the band.

I am primarily a MOC or MIB collector, and due to space restrictions at my house, I really can only buy one playset from this line, which will have to be Animal. I'm kinda bummed Janis will also be packaged as a playset. Are there any plans to have her boxed or carded as a con exclusive?

Figment-your cat is adorable! If I ever figure out how to post pictures, I'll post one of my cat Murphy
I didn't realize that series one had sold out, I guess I should get my Dr. Teeth and Bunsen asap!
