I need to make a Puppet for my fan made movie...

One of the Characters is Soda a spoof of Yoda and he a rip-off of the cookie monster. Can someone direct me to a book which cna help me make a half-way decent puppet?

Go to amazon and buy the foam book by Drew Allison & Donald Devet. It's a good starting point.
