I'm really sorry that happened, disapointments are the worst! Just don't give up, eventually something good will happen. And hey, as you get older and more independent you'll be able to take your own vacations, lol.

Yeah passports are expensive and take a long time to obtain. Though, that's been true for years and will continue to be true, no matter who is President, hehe. It's annoying, but I guess it's for our own security as well as the other countries.

Snowth, im sorry about that, but thats life. You can't allways get what you want, and you cant help it that your parents or you have something urgent to stand in the way of something. Seriously you shouldnt be so paranoid, lifes tough.

Aww, I'm so sorry! With us, we plan the vacation then get to the destination, only to have thing after thing after thing go wrong. Like when we went to the beach ladst saturday, me and my friend had to walk 6 blocks in 105 degree heat from a water park to our hotel becaues we were one year too young to get in without an adult . I say if we are old enoufgh to drive we should be able to get into a water park that isnt even that big. Although, I did hit the jackpot on an arcade game when we got back (412 tickets), so that was good  I'm going to shut up now

Well, before Bush, you could at least get into CANADA without a passport, so long as you had proper I.D. like a birth certificate, and things like that. I mean Canada's practically our next-door-neighbor, and to need a passport to get up there is almost like needing a passport just to visit a neighboring state (if you live in the U.S.)

I'm really sorry that you have to keep dealing with disappointments like this over and over again, Snowthers. That really sucks! But it'll happen for you eventually. Try to hang in there. And just think... maybe the next vacation you go on will be that much sweeter, because it will feel so good to finally be doing it!
