I have something serious to say now-honest

I'm seriously thinking that I'll have to consider sending my computer in for maintenance.
Occasionally it plays up on me. It recently started making the webpage jiggle up and down slightly while I have been on the forum making things awkward and if it's happening while I'm typing a post and I hit the shift key to make a capital letter or some punctuation mark it goes back to the main forum index page and I lose everything I was trying to post.

Maybe you hit the F1 button or something like that.
A slip-up if it's occasional.
Usually, computer dysfunction actually is something chronic and rapid.

Oh, Marty! I'm sorry to hear about your computer problems. That's terrible, I wonder what might be wrong with it.

I hope you don't have too much trouble deciding whether or not to send it in for maintenance. I don't know much about computers, but if you can't discover a possible reason, it probably is best to send it in. But, I really hope that everything turns out ok for you and for your computer!

Weird things like that happen to me all the time, Marty. Sometimes I just think I don't know everything this keyboard I'm typing on can do.

Thank you for your kind thoughts everybody. It's working all right at the moment. I think before taking it in I shall ask the opinion of the manager at the shop I bought it from.

But seriously, that's a puzzler! Hmmm, could be a keyboard problem... I think checking with the mannager is a very good idea.

By the way, sorry to steal your thunder, but just to keep you updated, my new one should be set up in a month or so. Then I can be here on a more regular basis!

I asked at the computer shop today.
I was told it could be a viral problem. Even though my security check has removed the virus the damage it has done could still be a problem causing things to go haywire at any sudden moment. I'm going to get it checked out as soon as I can.
