I got the Muppet Christmas Carol DVD

I'm debating on whether to pick it up now or wait for a possible widescreen edition.

I'm waiting. After all, I already have the VHS version.

Buying a DVD with extras but a modified aspect ratio is kinda like buying only half a DVD. It would be similar to getting a restored movie that was in letterbox, but edited.
