Okay. Gotta ask it. Everybody else is thinking it (probably).

Why wouldn't your mother let you watch "The Muppet Movie"?

And how do you post enough to be a senior member of the board and not know anything about the Muppet Show?

She thinks it is a phase, it's probably not worth her time and money :smirk:

I came here because of Elmo. I was an Elmo Fan. I hardly had any knowlege of the muppets. And I do not go to most of the forums for I can not understand them because I do not know what the muppet show and labrinth and all those are and can not understand them.

Does that answer your question?

I think I know, but I won't tell either.
On every site I go to, my age is different almost. By one year ahead or behind. All you need to know is about how old I am, who cares exactly?

Dont feel too bad. I've only seen 3 movies, never saw muppets tonight, only have 3 toys, and only saw dark crystal on the 17. Although, Labyrinth is one of my favorite movies

Well Furryred- if your myspace photo is really you- you do look quite young. Its ok you don’t know, its not your fault, and wont hold it against you in anyway- we love to see you here

SEE I TOLD YOU GUYS THE DAY HAS COME WHEN YOUNG-ONES DONT KNOW WHO THE MUPPETS ARE.

Its a sad sad day... when all they know is Elmo- that’s all its turning in to. I mean, who cares who Big bird is- they don’t show him like they do Elmo- I mean he has his own 1/2 hour slot now. It just makes me sooo angry- so many kids, they don’t know, they haven’t had there life changed by Jims love and way of life. He loved this world and everything in it. Its only been 15 years since he passed, is that all it takes for his magic to start to fade? all that he did- He changed my life, I don’t know about you. If all kids know from him is Elmo...man... He’s not even what SS was about anyway. It was about a community- a street, with everyone living together in harmony, no matter what their background was. Was never just about one Muppet (or ones own imaginary world). That’s what Jim was about- harmony, happiness, kindness, understanding. That’s what he was trying to get across. God knows we need it now more than ever.

Watching Kermit and the gang- Fraggle Rock- the Old SS- I learned life lessons, ones who made me who I am today. He made me dream more, make me try to strive for my dreams, to dream a bit bigger. To share that dream with as many people as you can. Be kind to people, try to understand everyone, everyone is equal. To live like it was your last day, that life was short and to never take it for granted, or the people that you love. Your not going to get that from the stuff they show kids today. Cheep anime? come on, really. It just ****** me off.

Again- sorry for the punctuation, I kinda make up my own, lol.

Amen to that sister/brother. SS is NOT what it used to be.

Elmo - to be taken in SMALL doses.

Its not the end of the world. Its more an end of an age- a time- a period- what ever you want to call it. I dont know if you meant that to mock me, and I also see you are younger, dont make fun unless you know. Maybe you do, and you meant that, but if you didnt... I guess you will just never understand. :'(
