The Muppet Show was a weekly syndicated variety show starring the muppets that ran from 1976-1981. It featured a different human guest star each week, and featured many songs, skits, and backstage plots.

Almost every episode opened with an opening number, and almost every episode closed with a closing number.

For more information about a typical episode, you can look at the Guides section of Muppet Central. There are episode pages for every episode of the first two seasosn of The Muppet Show, plus pages for the pilots and special pages that talk about those two seasons.

The first season is currently available on DVD, and the secodn season is reportedly coming out on DVD this summer (though there has been no announcement as to the exact date, nor has it been confirmed what features will be included).

Do you want any info on the differences between each season? You have seen the muppet movies, right?

The Muppet Show was Jim Henson's very first series involving the muppets as we know and love today.

This above link is a very slim outline of the Muppet Show itself.

http://muppet.wikicities.com/wiki/Category:Muppet_Show_Episodes

This is a listing of all of the Muppet Show shows. Click on any of them to find a very well done outline concerning each episode. Not every season is outlined completely, I must warn, but it will get better as each season progresses.

And this link sends you directly to Amazon.com if you wish to purchase the Season One Set.

I know you shouldn't do that, but I simply figured it would be easier for her perhaps.

Here is the Muppet Wiki's article on The Muppet Show, perhaps that might give you some more good information.

Labrynth was a fantasy movie directed by Jim Henson and released in 1986. The plot concerns a teenage girl named Sarah, who wishes that her crying baby would get taken away by a Goblin King, and then The Goblin King comes to her house and grants her wish. After that, she changes her mind, but has to go to the Goblin Kings castle in a giant labrynth (a labrynth is another name for a maze) in order to get the baby, but she only has thirteen hours to get there. On the way, she meets a variety of unique characters, including a dwarf-like character called Hoggle, a group of devil-like creatures called Fiery's, a giant monster named Ludo, and talking door knockers.

David Bowie portrayed the goblin king, while Jennifer Connelly played Sarah.

Okay. Gotta ask it. Everybody else is thinking it (probably).

Why wouldn't your mother let you watch "The Muppet Movie"?

And how do you post enough to be a senior member of the board and not know anything about the Muppet Show?
