I'm somewhat surprized that they never had The and Herbert Birdsfoot version on the show. I can totally picture the 3 of them all standing next to each other and singing that song. It puzzles me why they had anything Muppets singing it on the show instead.

It wasn't unusual to have had different characters perform on the records compared to the actual TV sketches.

I don't know why they did different verses for the LP's.
